ATTICA — Frances Ann (Hagley) Strawser Hannon Fix, 81, formerly of 109 Edgewood Drive, Attica, died at 4:57 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. She was born May 28, 1920 in Covington, the daughter of William Isaac and Julia Ann Coonse Hagley. She first married James Leslie Strawser Feb. 7, 1935. She later married Paul Andrew Hannon Oct. 11, 1941 in Morganfield, Ky. He preceded in death in April 1970. On June 3, 1977 she married Roy Fix in West Lebanon. He preceded in death in 1996. She was raised in Covington and attended Covington schools. She lived most of her life in Attica, moving to Woodland Manor in July 2000. She formerly worked 10 years as a supervisor for Radio Material Corp. in Attica. She later worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company for seven years and her final employment was with the bakery department of the IGA Food Store in Attica. She was a former member of the Attica Christian Church. She enjoyed walking and fishing in her earlier years. Survivors include: a daughter, Paulette (Richard) Spivey, Williamsport; three sons, John (Hallie) Hannon, Stone Bluff, Bob (Marcia) Hannon, Attica, Rick (Candi) Hannon, Veedersburg; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and a great-great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jim Strawser and Dale Strawser, along with three sisters, Edith Kinney, Laura George and Norma Jean Weaver. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Fred Seidler and Daneen Rodriguez officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. – jlr
